SIGNALS MIDWEST
Max Stern has become a familiar face here in Australia. Having toured twice before, the first time 'round in 2014 with Wil Wagner (The Smith Street Band) and Sydney's Pinch Hitter and a second tour with the latter two years ago, it was only a matter of time before he brought over his main project, indie punk band, Signals Midwest.
We caught up with Max during a short run of solo shows with Pinch Hitter before the start of Signals' very first Australian tour, which sees them wrap things up as a part of the ridiculously stacked line up of Pool House Party in Melbourne. We filmed two songs for this session, a Signals song previously released on his latest solo EP, and an incredible collaboration with Pinch Hitter for their song, Never Meant Again.
